Matt is one of the three co-owners of Newberry Inspections, along with his father, Ken, and brother, Kevin. Matt was raised in Reno , but had been living in Eastern Oregon for the past twelve years, until the opportunity arose to open Newberry Inspections. Matt is most likely found in the field conducting inspections, but you might also hear him answering phones in the office, as he is involved in both sides of the business.

Joe was born in San Jose, California, and raised in the Truckee and Reno/Sparks area. He has a beautiful nine year old daughter named Baleigh. Joe enjoys jet skiing, playing volleyball and wrestling his very large puppy. Joe is certified as both a structural and pest inspector. He has 6 1/2 years of pest inspection experience and 1 1/2 years experience as a structural inspector.

Jonathan started with Newberry Inspections in June of 2004, and he was our first pest inspector. He is highly experienced in pest, having been an inspector for over six years, and he is also licensed as a structural inspector too. Jonathan has a beautiful family. He and his wife Gabriella have two little girls and are currently adopting two little boys.

As many of you already know, Malinda is one of the friendly voices on the phone when you call. She is the backbone of our operation here at Newberry Inspections. She has years of experience in managing offices, but what qualifies her for the job is her love for this business. She truly wants every customer to have a great experience.

Robin is our newest addition to the office. She is Malinda’s sister and started working for Newberry Inspections in May of this year. Robin just moved back to Reno from Round Mountain, Nevada. Round Mountain? Where is that? It’s in the middle of the state, and it is a very small town. Robin has two grown daughters, and a cute puppy, named Buddy, who she LOVES. As you can read, Robin loves dogs just as much as Malinda. It’s almost a pre-requisite to work at Newberry Inspections—”must love dogs”! Next time you catch Robin on the phone, give her a big welcome!

It might as well be known that Kevin Newberry is the computer genius of the group. He does all the computer stuff that makes the rest of us crazy; he is, quite simply, the brains. Besides making sure our systems work properly, Kevin flies for the Air Guard. Anytime you see those C-130 lumbering through the air, chances are he’s flying. Amie (that’s me) runs the marketing side of Newberry Inspections. And when I am not typing up witty banter for the newsletter, you can find me chauffeuring two adorable kids to and from school and soccer practice. As you can see, Newberry Inspections truly is a family affair!
