Infrared Inspections

Infrared imaging is a powerful high-tech diagnostic tool that can be invaluable in structural inspections.  While standard inspections are limited to the visible aspects of the structure, this may not reveal the whole picture.

While you may have seen IR cameras before, this technology is not turn-key, and Newberry Inspector Jonathan Cartwright has the necessary training to properly read infrared images.

IR might seem like XRay vision, or some other kind of magic, but the concept is simple – the images show minute differences in surface temperatures.  These temperature differences can indicate sources of  moisture, identify overheated electrical components, confirm operation of radiant floor heating systems and much more.  This tool is valuable in residential and commercial applications.

Clients can choose a Whole House Analysis or Focused Area Investigation to suit their needs.

Call or write Jonathan to learn more about whether this can help you in your inspections.
